23rd American Cardinals Dinner
Dear Friends,
Now that the 22nd American Cardinals Dinner held in Phoenix, Ariz., on Friday, May 6, 2011, is over, CUA will be forever grateful to our friend and University Trustee, His Excellency Thomas J. Olmsted, for being such a wonderful co-host of the Mass and gala. This was the first time that the dinner has been held in Phoenix and it was a wonderful event! The people of Phoenix--especially their volunteer leadership committee--really worked diligently to make this evening a reality and a great success.
Since its inauguration in 1989, the American Cardinals Dinner has raised more than $27 million to sustain Catholic University. These funds are used to help meet the expenses of academically qualified students who are in need of financial support, so that they might be prepared to serve as wise and virtuous leaders of our nation. With the very generous support of this year's benefactors, The Catholic University of America will continue its mission to serve both God and country.
Please mark your calendars to join the American Cardinals and our co-host and University Trustee, His Eminence Cardinal Francis George, in attending the 23rd dinner on April 27, 2012, in Chicago--our third time in the windy city! All of the information you need to attend the liturgy, to reserve a table or a place at the dinner is available on these pages. On to Chicago!
